I ♥ this house take two

As I have written about it before we started looking at plans for our own home. I think the next house is one to die for. I love everything about it. I love the mix of the old and new and hope we will be able to achieve the same look in our own house.

We already have some fears as contemporary houses are very rare in Hungary, and I learned that it is forbidden to have flat roofs at parts of the country. This might set us back in some ways. Moreover we are thinking of building a timber frame passive house, this technique is completely new and again it is unusual.

I was also wondering about becoming good at house DIY. I mean if that ever will happen to us.We will need that to make our place look like a million dollars.I know for some jobs we will have to hire crafts men, but knowing myself I would want to make some things on my own or on our own. The other day our friends visited us and explained how they got into business. They bought a 2 bedroom flat some 3 years ago and have been renovating it since then on the weekends. They knocked down walls laid tiles and all the rest.I found all the stories real fun, but the technical terms they used were completely unfamiliar.I guess in some months time we will be as technical as they are now.

I feel really excited about the whole house idea and looking at interior design magazines and sites, fascinating ideas and designers.I will give an update how we stand every time I find some thing I promise.

So here is my/our second find.{Credit}

My Dream Home with Manci

Located in Soest, the Netherlands, this modern forest house designed by Netherlands architects Zecc has a striking stone siding that blends beautifully with its natural surroundings. The unusual home is clad in stone with wood details framing the vast expanses of glass which bring views of the outdoors into every room. The natural house design has a strong connection to the outside environment too through sliding glass doors which open to the garden. In addition to the exterior stone siding, inside, natural stone tile floors and simple features bring a country-chic look to the space. An open concept house plan connects the home’s living areas and floods every nook and cranny with natural light. Stretching from the basement up to the top floor, an open void enclosed in windows adjoins all three levels of living while keeping them connected with the outdoors.

Cupcake Toppers and Other Plans

I have been planning and experimenting with these toppers for some days now. After a lot of planning and drawing here are the  polymer prototypes of my animal babies.Hope to perfect them for when the girls♥ come over for tea. I want to use them with some fancy cupcakes.

Bunnies and bears ♥

Here are some of my other plans that I drew over the weekend. I normally drew anything that springs in mind and some of it I make out of polymer clay. They dont always work out fine for the first time but hardly ever give up on them. They are fine by the 2nd or 3rd try. I hope that I will still have some time to do these bits and pieces as finally I found a job!!!( I am so thrilled and horrified at the same time!) I know that will take up most of my time, but I know I will enjoy it too.Just want to be over the first day week!!!!I always find that the hardest especially when you are new... hope all will work out well. Please cross everything  for me!!!!

I read somewhere that it helps to visualize things you would like to have or achive so here I am with a highly sophisticated office person head (joke), looking clever and happy!!Hope this will help.♥

I ♥ to create

Just want to share what is going on with me lately.I am still looking for a job with no luck:O(((. The only thing that gives me the positivity to go on is my sewing.I ♥ to create anything small and sweet.I have so many things on my mind that I would want to make in the near future.I also thinking of opening my first shop on etsy but only if I feel that my work is precise enough.I would like to sell all kinds of things that I sewn, painted, embroidered, crafted.
I find inspiration in small things of my everyday life:
♥Being outside, especially waking some times just sitting and listening
♥Having a sweet smelling bath
♥Literature and fairy tales
♥Coloured glass
♥Little things, like beads, buttons
♥Smiles
♥World and Classical music
♥Going to my favourite libraries ( I love to read and discover all kinds of great resources for crafts)

I want to thank you all for all the support good wishes.I promise that to share all the news with you very soon until then here are two more photoes of my workstation where I create.

Skating

'Oh almost forgot. Here are my very talented nieces skating away, enjoying every minutes of the ice.It was so lovely watching them. It brought back all the old memories of when I was a child and went skating every winter with my parents. i even remembered my favorite white skates with a gold ballerina silhouette on the leather. That was a moment I was missing so much to have abroad. Finally I really felt home again.

Winter came down to our home one night
Quietly pirouetting in on silvery-toed slippers of snow,
And we, we were children once again.
~Bill Morgan, Jr.
